Who writes this cover guide, and how Hipobuy describes itself
A guide about payouts should be easy to check. Here is who is behind it, where every figure came from, and what it will not do.
An independent guide, with one commercial link
Hipobuy Spreadsheet Parcel Cover is written independently of Hipobuy. We are not its staff and it does not review these pages. The registration link in the footer carries an invitation code, which may earn us a reward if you sign up; no figure on this site changes either way.
Corrections go to [email protected]. We date every change on the notices and changes page.
Nobody pays to appear here. Product cards are chosen by category and by whether we could find a photo not already used elsewhere, not by price or by seller.

A guide to what comes back, not what you pay
This is why this guide exists at all. Most guides to buying through an agent list what you pay. Very few list what comes back when something goes wrong, and the default answer at Hipobuy, postage plus 40 yuan a kilo, surprises almost everyone who reads the table for the first time.
So this site keeps the product catalogue and the cover rules side by side, keeps them dated, and checks its own links for dead ends before each update. What makes this guide different is narrow on purpose: one question, answered from the operator's own words.

How the figures were gathered
Payout rules come from Hipobuy's published help articles and the two table images inside them, read on 16 October 2026. Route flags come from the public estimator, which we queried for ten destinations. Screen wording that only appears after login, such as the complimentary benefit message, comes from the English strings in Hipobuy's site code, and is labelled as such.
Where official texts disagree we show both and say which page said what. We print no premium rate, because we could not see one without a real parcel, and we never name third-party sources or turn customer anecdotes into numbers.
Every figure keeps a pointer to its source in our working notes, so a correction can be traced to the page it came from.

Lines this cover guide will not cross
It will not tell you to buy or skip paid cover. The comparator shows the trade between a premium and the extra payout; the chance of loss is yours to judge, and no one outside the carriers has the data to judge it well.
It will not rank agents, publish star ratings or quote customer reviews as evidence. It will not print an insurance rate it has not seen, a warehouse address that Hipobuy only shows after login, or anything that would help a parcel slip past customs or Hipobuy's own checks.
And it will not describe products as anything other than what a listing says. Hipobuy does not authenticate goods, and neither do we.

Hipobuy's own account of itself, and its counterfeit rule
Hipobuy's About Us page says its purchasing platform "was established in 2019" and that in 2024 it upgraded its service model to create the Hipobuy platform. Its footer names five joint operators: one with an address in the UK (EVERLINE TRADING CO., LIMITED), one with a Warsaw address (VISTULA TECH SP. Z O.O.), one in the British Virgin Islands (Yeapp Limited) and two Hong Kong trading companies, Jointown and Chivas. The iOS app is published by yet another company, SOUTHERN TIMES INTERNATIONAL TRADE LIMITED.
On counterfeits its Service Terms leave no room: "The purchase of counterfeit products is strictly prohibited." Breaches can mean loss of purchase privileges, funds withheld and inventory disposed of. Its Search Terms add that Hipobuy does not authenticate products, so nothing here should be read as a promise about what a listing contains.
